Dragon Miniature Birdhouse - this miniature wood birdhouse is hand painted a deep turquoise. The roof is created using shells (from Wrightsville Beach, NC). The shells are hand placed one at a time then painted brown with a green iridescence. The front of the birdhouse has an antique brass dragon embellishment. The entrance hole rim is painted Georgia clay orange and the base is framed in turquoise sea glass and upcycled stained glass.
Once designing is complete resin is poured one side at a time to get a hard-glossy protective coating. Then finished with a beaded wire on top of the birdhouse roof for easy hanging.
